Hanidcare UK manufactures and supplies stairlifts, bath lifts and portable hoist solutions. Stairlift Manufacture is their core UK activity and these lifts are shipped world wide. Handicare UK's head office is located in Kingswinford in the West Midlands, an area famed for its engineering prowess and manufacturing skills.

Hanidcare Uk has specialist National Sales teams who work directly with mobility dealers and government bodies, where applicable. Handicare UK also has a national installation and service team who install and service their stairlifts on behalf of mobility dealers and local authorities.

Handicare has increased its sales significantly year on year and as a result they have expanded their manufacturing facilities in order to supply the increased demand. In line with this expansion both their administrative functions and their fleet of installation engineers have increased accordingly. Handicare UKbelieves in investing for the future and their engineers apprenticeship scheme is a perfect illustration of this ethos. The scheme operates throughout the UK offering professional qualifications and hands on experience to the apprentice engineers. Once they have completed their training, the Apprentices become fully fledged Handicare Engineers meaning Handicare is able to increase its team with the introduction of 'home grown' specialists.

To support the increase in personnel throughout the company. Handicare supplies bespoke and on the job training whilst investing to ensure employees have the tools to do their job right first time. The resulting empowerment encourages employees to not only take responsibility for their actions, but also to take action to improve their role.
